Jordan Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to our blog!

Like most wedding photographers on the North Coast of NSW, we are passionate about photography and stoked to be shooting weddings in paradise! ... But rather than bore you with details of experience and equipment, we'd like to share some more important, unique and mindless facts:

    • Diana responds well to surprise gifts; has an affinity with doonas in Autumn + Winter + Spring; loves pho & hates it when her tea goes cold
    • I don't have the necessary genetics required to Zumba; and ever since I started training to run a marathon, there has been a slow but sure lifestyle change for both of us. As a result, the Purple Tiger has emerged.

Check here to see how we work & check here to see Diana's take on who we are

Scott & Jacki – married!

It seemed like such a long time ago, since Scott and Jacki came to see us last August about their wedding. Just over a year later, they are now finally Mr and Mrs Donnelly!! Yay!! Despite the amazingly weird weather we had on Saturday, it certainly didn’t dampen spirits or spoil the fun that we had with these two and their bridal party! Having photographed both bridesmaids before, and their mix of bubbly personalities made for a lot of laughs! We always knew this day was going to be fun!

The wedding took place in Alstonville’s quaint stone church – St. Bartholomews – always enjoy shooting there. Even though a storm brought teeming rain just before the ceremony, by the time it was finished, the sun was showing off all it’s radiance again! Our adventure to chase it down again started at Teven Golf Course and finished in the park beside The Serpentine in Ballina. Thank God for a stopover in between to warm up in the sun – and of course, play with golden light (as we do):-)

Here’s to you Scott and Jacki – enjoy the memories … and ‘yes’ Jacki, you have lots of choices!:-D

We had a ball on your day. Congratulations guys and enjoy your honeymoon!

Love! Beautiful work and captures

Luke & Elise – Ballina Wedding

What a great way to start our run of Spring weddings! Luke & Elise got married on the lawn area right next to the Ramada in Ballina with a nice breeze, lovely Spring weather and they even shed a couple of tears between them:-)The flags and potted plants, supplied by Radiance Plant Hire, assembled with the beautifully colour-coordinated chairs and petal-laden carpet created a gorgeous scene for their friends and family to enjoy their vows.

Even though the sun disappeared behind some clouds towards the end of the location shoot and denied us of some glowing sunset shots, we still captured some wonderful emotions and images down by the river. Enjoy some memories!

Congratulations Luke and Elise!!

Beautiful photos guys!

Dylan & Nicky – Married @Byron Bay

The day had finally arrived for Dylan and Nicky on Saturday, where rings were exchanged and tears flowed! Amidst their wonderful family and friends and the beautiful surrounds of Byron Bay, their perfect day together unfolded. Not only was there sunshine, but there was a brilliant rainbow arching over Byron Lighthouse (reminding Nicky of when Dylan proposed) and dolphins and whales playing in the ocean just off Wategos Beach. And just to add a bit of drama to the scene, some storm clouds – but thankfully no storm! What a great combo of things to mark such a memorable occasion!

Sit back and enjoy some of the highlights!

Congratulations Dylan & Nicky!

Dylan & Nicky – Sydney E-session

While on our business/holiday trip over the last month, we caught up with Dylan & Nicky in Sydney’s Centennial Park for their wonderful e-session. It was a beautiful winter afternoon and we got to hear how these two often spent time jogging through the nice grounds of this park. Their story is one of the classic ‘doctor meets nurse’ and having been together for 6.5/7 years, it’s about time they decided to tie the knot.:-)So in another week’s time, we get to be part of their wedding day and photograph them again … but in the mean time, enjoy some teasers from their e-session.
